Baby bags are forgettable and designed primarily for the new mom. They lack innovation, catering to style over substance. Millennial parents don't have a modern travel and baby bag that responds to their work and life diversity, like multiple caretakers and shifting roles.

KINBUILT is a brand I created and launched in 2016 as a rugged, unisex diaper bag alternative for the active, modern parent. We’ve sold bags to thousands of happy parents worldwide and continue to grow our product lines, focusing on family and travel.

This means most parents prefer easy access to a larger, cross-body bag during the newborn years to carry larger, varied supplies for feeding, nursing, and cleaning. An adult-style backpack is favored as the child grows out of the toddler years.

I leveraged the form factor of a traditional doctor’s bag/tool bag as a rugged alternative to cleanly organize small objects accessed frequently throughout the day, especially while traveling.
